We all have those reliable products that we buy time and time again…

Here are some of my preferred.

Expensive (But Worth It)

Real Clothing Hangers (i.e. not wire)

Spending a little extra money on handsome hangers will be worth it when you go to your closet. It's amazing how just using wire (or even plastic) hangers can make your closet look junky, even if everything is put away.

Umbra Recipe Easel

I love this recipe keeper because you can keep adding to it. It pops open like a binder so you can add more pages or just rearrange the ones already in there. The other plus is you don't have to cut magazine pages or printed out recipes, since the Easel has standard-size page sleeves. Then of course the main advantage: the Easel stands on its own to make it simple to refer to the recipe in use.

3M Command Products

These are another fabulous invention from the folks at 3M (makers of scotch tape). A word of warning, though: when removing the hooks, pull the tab as instructed verrrrry sloooowly. Do not rush the process or you will risk pulling of some of the wall. 3M also has these velcro picture hangers, which make it so easy to switch around the pictures on your walls.

Products With Multiple Uses

Double-Sided Tape

Many people would swear on the power of duct tape; me, I'm a double-sided tape woman.

XL Ziplock Bags

These bags (all sizes) are a really great option for cheap storage. They are clear, so you can see what is in them, and they are easy to grab out of a closet. Perfect for gift-wrapping supplies (bows, ribbons) or art supplies, or just to use as an aid during the categorizing step of organizing a room.
